| Description:
Known as a poet, hymn-writer, and for her nature and gardening writings, both within and without the Christadelphian brotherhood, Jean Galbraith was born in 1906, at Tyers, a village in southern Victoria, Australia. Although more widely known for her botanical and gardening works, writing for children has always been an important part of her work, and her stories and poems have been widely published.
These poems were written for the poet's nephew who spent much of his childhood at her home. They reflect the freshness and imagination of a child's play in the security of a rural home and garden. We are sure they will be enjoyed by both children and the young at heart.
88 pages. Attractive paperback illustrated with line drawings.
